Mary Marr is a highly experienced crisis response advisor who brings finely tuned problem-solving insights, media expertise, and extensive networking skills to equip organizational leaders to build human and material capacity for biblical crisis-response.

Mary Marr provides national governmental and organizational level experience, finely tuned problem solving insights, media expertiese, and vast networking skills to equip organizational leaders to build human and material capacity for a biblical crisis-response.

In her active role as a national Christian radio broadcaster, trainer, and author of Lighting the Way, Mary brought together ten national ministries to form CEN, the first Christian emergency network in 2001. She wrote the books that have influenced emergency preparedness across the globe: ReadyChristian, ReadyChurch, ReadyCity and ReadySchool. She authored the national report for Rutgers University titled: “The State of Christian Security - Global and Domestic” used by law enforcement officials worldwide.

Mary has worked in a leadership role supporting interventions in national, state and local emergency activations, including Hurricane Katrina, the Texas mass active shooter attack, and the 2022 response to Hurricane Ian that devastated southwest Florida. Among many roles at the national level, she has been appointed for over two decades as the Co-Chair of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Faith-Based Security and Communications Advisory Committee as well as the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s “Multi-Faith Roundtable Preventing Violence in Faith Communities.
