All emergencies are local, and so is membership. Membership in a local Chapter gives your church or Christian organization support from a CEN trained team of volunteer emergency preparedness and response professionals – your local network. They will help you get started, connected, and trained to respond to emergencies, big or small.

The strength of the national CEN network comes from everyone doing their part. Individual and group members join CEN to network, prepare and respond to emergencies, big and small. What role will you play in the Christian Emergency Network?

A good place to start is to sign up to begin becoming a Ready Christian and to learn about Biblical Readiness.  Then, take steps to get your family ready, too, or others in your life.   You'll learn how you can develop a pray, care and share lifestyle that will serve you well as you encounter crises and disasters personally or respond to others who are.

You can also sign up for the Ready Church piece.  The Ready Church Track provides training and support to building a Church Emergency Team, and teaches you how you and your church can plan for its safety and security. Once your church is further along in the Track, your church will have an Activation Area for which your church will be a key responder.

Has God called you to mobilize Christians in response to crisis and disaster? Your third option is to consider launching a local CEN Chapter to organize Christians and churches in your area for a unified crisis and disaster response.

You who are part of Christian media can select to be in direct contact with CEN to provide and/or receive news regarding the Christian response to emergencies...and even be part of a local CEN Chapter.

Membership is free for Ready Christians. Ready Churches pay dues to the local CEN Chapter to support the area organization and mobilization of Christians. Members access the resources of CEN by logging on and navigating to the MY CEN section. Content available by membership type can be accessed within the MY CEN section.
