CEN Chapters Help Create Ready Christians and Ready Churches

embraceThe Ready Church Initiative in motion by CEN local Chapters seeks to help Christians be equipped for life's emergencies...

Christians prepare for and respond to life’s emergencies with a powerful and effective approach - from the perspective of a Biblical Readiness Standard.

"Christians are uniquely gifted to be responsible citizens in the area of general preparedness, and are especially called to a Christ-like response of prayer, caring, and sharing of the truths of the Bible," states CEN Founder/President Mary Marr.  "The government relies heavily upon local churches and ministries to model calm spirits and come to the aid of their communities. Eighty-nine (89) percent of all volunteers in any emergency are faith-based. Whether responding to floods, fires, or the flu, Christians are putting a face of Hope within emergencies."
