Most things require effort, that’s why we call most jobs work. When we sit idly by, nothing happens. The house isn’t clean, dinner not prepared and we can be fired from our paying jobs. Most of us understand work is necessary to accomplish most things.

In a 24 hour period this past weekend, over 100 tornadoes touched down in the Plains states, most of them in Kansas. Most of the deaths and injuries that occurred happened in one rural community. Last week, the world avoided a tragedy. A 8.6 magnitude earthquake struck off Indonesia that moved the seabed 70 feet! Image that type of movement under a city? The quake was followed by a very strong 8.2 quake also near Indonesia.  On average, the world experiences one quake at 8.0 each year, we had two the same day.
